Salvation Shapes: Explaining Salvation vs. Baptism Using Wiki Sticks
SHARE THIS POST WITH OTHERS
When you share the gospel with children, you aren’t doing it because you like to hear yourself talk. You aren’t teaching them the depths of God’s love for them in hopes that no one pays attention or remembers the lesson. You want the boys and girls sitting in your ministry to listen as you share the gospel. Even better, you want them to be engaged.
Busy hands can mean quiet mouths, but what if hands weren’t just busy but were involved in the learning process? And what if those hands got to use something fun too?
Salvation Shapes
X —> Sin is a really big problem. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
Cross —> Jesus is the only way to have our sins forgiven. (John 3:16, Romans 5:8)
Heart —> If we believe in Jesus as Lord, we can be saved from the punishment of sin. (Romans 10:9)
Water —> Baptism is not salvation, but an act of symbolic obedience. (1 Peter 3:21)
Grab the Salvation Shapes PDF (below). Print it out for your kids, then give them 2 of each color Wiki Sticks for them to outline the shapes while you explain sin, salvation, and the gospel.
